Why people are missing out on Lola King's Reading Order.

If you’re tempted to start your Lola King journey with the North Shore series because it’s gone viral on TikTok — stop and listen to this post. While it might seem like the obvious starting point, the best place to begin is actually the Stoneview series. Starting with Stoneview ensures you follow the characters’ journeys in the correct order and experience all the story twists as intended.

The Stoneview series follows Jake and Jamie’s story:

  1. Giving In

  2. Giving Away

  3. Giving Up

  4. Novella: One Last Kiss

This series contains a jaw-dropping moment that connects to the North Shore series, particularly Lawless God (Nathan King’s story). Starting with North Shore first can spoil some of the impact of that moment.

Next, move on to the Roses Duet, which features two stories in one novella set:

  1. Novella: Queen of Broken Hearts

  2. Duet: King of My Heart and Ace of All Hearts

This follows Rose’s story, who you first meet in the Stoneview series as Jake’s twin sister.

Then comes the North Shore series:

  1. Beautiful Fiend

  2. Heartless Beloved

  3. Delightful Sins

  4. Lawless God

Finally, the Silver Falls University series, set in the town of Silver Falls just up from Stoneview:

  1. Loving the Liar

  2. Loving the Reaper

  3. Loving the Tormentor (releases December 4, 2025)

All these series take place in the same interconnected setting: Stoneview is its own town, across the lake is North Shore, and Silver Falls is a nearby town housing Silver Falls University. Reading them in this order gives the clearest picture of how the characters and towns are linked together and also helps avoid spoilers.
